Ministries and Missions

Music

Music is an integral part of worship here at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church. We offer a blend of contemporary, gospel, blue grass, and classical music. We sing old and new, but in a fresh and approachable way. Whether it’s our wonderful choir; piano, organ, and/or harp soloists, there is music to be enjoyed by all!  We are always looking for new voices and musicians to join us!

Mission Projects

As a congregation, we are actively involved in a variety of service projects within the community. We partner with Community Ministry Food Bank to regularly collect food and clothing for those in need. We work with Denver Inner City Parish to ensure that all children have something to open on Christmas day. And each October, we turn our yard into a Pumpkin Patch to raise money for Habitat for Humanity.

We also work globally, participating in the Guatemala mission project, which provides water filters to communities in Guatemala.

Christian Education

We offer a number of different opportunities to grow in faith and learn more about Christianity.

*Christian Education - 9:00 a.m. Sundays.  In this study, we discuss a number of different topics, using current books and literature to guide our discussion.

*Evening Bible Study - 5:30 p.m. Mondays.

During this time, we explore different books of the Bible and discuss how this relates to current day life. This also includes a Potluck meal.

*Naomi Circle - 1:00 Tuesdays (2nd Tuesday September- May). This is a monthly women's group that explores a variety of topics.

*Children's Sunday School - 10:30 a.m. Sundays. The Children's Sunday School message is held during worship time, immediately following the Children's Message.   This is an opportunity for the children to learn about the Bible through games, art activities, and music.

Fellowship Activities

We provide a number of different activities to be able to spend time together, build a community, and grow in faith.  Some of our activities include:

*Weekly Fellowship Time following worship

*A Ladies' Tea

*Summer barbecues

*Ice Cream and Game Nights

*Special Musical Guests
